In phase two of the LIMS build, corresponding to our fully automated approach, we have implemented a HIPAA-compliant portal through which tests will be requested and reported to enable testing for non-UC Berkeley patient samples, given the large-scale capacity of the fully automated LDT operation (1000+ tests/day).
