In dogs, the Simpson method for atrial measurement is still rarely used and therefore there are no reference values, in most cases, the assessment of left atrial enlargement is by the left atrial Performed-to-aortic diameter ratio (LA: Ao). Thus, the aim of this study was determined to LAV as the body weight and the body surface area (BSA), using the Simpson biplane method in healthy dogs.
