Snippet: Coronaviruses are clinically significant to humans and usually associated with different respiratory, intestinal, hepatic, or neurological diseases [115] . HCoV-229E, HCoV-OC43, HCoV-NL63, and HCoV-HKU1 are among the most disseminating coronaviruses that usually infect the upper respiratory tract in humans, causing mild common cold-like diseases [116] [117] [118] [119] . Document: Coronaviruses are clinically significant to humans and usually associated with different respiratory, intestinal, hepatic, or neurological diseases [115] . HCoV-229E, HCoV-OC43, HCoV-NL63, and HCoV-HKU1 are among the most disseminating coronaviruses that usually infect the upper respiratory tract in humans, causing mild common cold-like diseases [116] [117] [118] [119] . Other coronaviruses, such as SARS-CoV identified in China in 2002 and MERS-CoV discovered in the Middle East in 2012, are notorious pathogens able to cause widespread outbreaks of pneumonia and pneumonialike conditions with very high morbidity and mortality rates of up to 35% [120, 121] . Due to their high clinical significance and contagious nature, there has recently been great interest in testing and developing advanced SARS detection methods.
