All dogs received prednisolone or dexamethasone alongside clopidogrel. Patients were randomized to receive Pentaglobin ® at 1g/kg on up to two occasions, or a control group. No additional immunosuppressive drugs were allowed within the first 7 days of treatment and other supportive treatments were given at the discretion of the attending clinician. Remission was defined as a stable PCV for 24 hours.
