    Document: Cyclosporine significantly decreased IL-2 and IFN-c expression when used alone or in combination with low-dose aspirin. High-dose aspirin, but not low-dose aspirin, significantly decreased IL-2 expression, although the decrease was not as marked as that seen with cyclosporine alone or combined with aspirin. Neither low-dose nor high-dose aspirin significantly affected IFN-c expression. Cyclosporine alone, unlike low-dose or high-dose aspirin alone, significantly decreased Treg numbers. Cyclosporine combined with low-dose aspirin was also associated with a decrease in Treg numbers, although the magnitude of the reduction was not enough to achieve statistical significance (P = 0.06).
